Hotel O Kota Bharu Near War Museum Formerly Azam Hotel

We arrived from Kuantan at 1am and stood outside in heavy rain for about 15 minutes, calling the number on the notice and ringing the bell. A male staff member just peeked out from inside, then walked away without asking anything or opening the door. Shame on u kelantanese. This hotel doesn't deserve even one star. The rules make no sense, check-in is only until 12am, and the phone numbers on Google and third-party sites don't work. The staff were so damn rude. Terrible.

Cheap, okay motel, enough to get some sleep. The shower heater might need fixing, though maybe that was just in my room. Parking is a bit of a problem since there's no dedicated hotel parking and not much public parking either. There are probably CCTV cameras at the back, where there are some parking spots.

The staff were so rude, and this is the worst hotel I've seen in Malaysia. Check-in took two hours, then they said the deposit would only be returned 24 after check-out. Which hotel does that? Please don't come here.

We picked this place because our flight arrived late and we were heading to the Perhentian Islands. The only good thing was being able to refill a water bottle for free at reception. Otherwise, it was terrible. There was mold everywhere, the shower had no hot water, and the whole room smelled damp and watery. Disgusting. You could feel the bed springs.
