The room was clean, spacious, and affordable, but the smoke smell was really strong. I couldn’t tell whether it came from a staff member or a previous guest, since there wasn’t a smoke detector in the room. Also, nobody was handling reception for the first 30 minutes after I arrived. I hope they sort these things out.

The location is convenient, with 99Speedmart downstairs, plenty of parking, and Domino's, PizzaHut Delivery, Nasi Lemak Royale Kedah, Sweetree halal Korean restaurant, and Berkat Madinah within walking distance. Parking needs coupon tickets on weekdays and Saturdays from 8am to 6pm. The room was spacious and very clean, with a mini fridge, TV, strong water pressure, and unusually lavender-scented body wash and lotion. There were lots of TV shopping channels, though I’d have liked another movie channel. It was unbelievably cheap for a last-minute online booking, and definitely a great deal. We did have a smoking smell in our room the first night, but when we asked to move, a similar room was available. Check for that before settling in.

The staff were polite and sharp, and they took good care of guests. The WiFi worked well all day, there’s tasty food nearby, and the mall is nice and close. A very comfortable stay and good value for money. I’ll visit again. Thanks!

The rooms were OK, but the service left a lot to be desired. Although the price had been agreed through my Booking reservation, they disputed it and made me feel like they were doing me a favor.

With the new management and renovation, the dream hotel now has spacious rooms at affordable prices. I’ll definitely come back and highly recommend it.
