A quiet, cool spot away from the city rush, though KL is still easy to reach, with Ampang metro train stop about a 10-minute walk away. The hosts, volunteers, and other guests were so warmhearted that we felt at home. Julian also took us on an amazing hike along a ridge of Bukit Tabur. Pure awesomeness. Can't wait to come back.

Julien, Alina, and the kids made me feel like part of the family from the moment I arrived. They spent time with us and treated us like friends they'd known for years. It's a great base for doing everything in the city while still being on the edge of it, with a real slice of Malaysia around you. My favourite hostel stay, and I'm already missing my corner real bad :) I'll definitely return and recommend it to everyone.

Julien really knows his stuff, and the staff put together a great breakfast. The morning coffee is delicious too. Couldn't ask for a better hostel stay.
