For the price and location, I'd give it 4. It's in a tourist area, budget friendly, with an elevator, a lobby dispenser for hot and cold water, an okay bed, and a room that isn't small. There were plenty of problems too. Music from the bar downstairs could be heard on the 4th floor until 1 or 2am, sometimes later. There's no AC remote, just a wall controller, and I didn't notice much difference between 17 and 24 degrees. The toilet looked dirty or scratched and the flush didn't work. I saw a mouse in my room, and later, while taking out the garbage, saw rats running around outside the hotel. I asked for a quiet room away from the lift but got one close to it, where guests were sometimes noisy. Sometimes I could smell someone smoking. When I asked at reception, the staff talked among themselves and didn't answer.

It looks good from outside, but the rooms feel a bit dated. For the same cost, I was happier with this room than with the one in KL.

I was exhausted when I got into the city and didn't want to carry my luggage or look for somewhere else after eating. The elderly Chinese man here was very kind and gave me lots of local tips, including where to find a nice touring Van and what to do.

As a Thai tourist traveling with my parents, I found this hotel decent for a few days. The price isn't too high, and although the room is old, it's acceptable. The service impressed me when I lost my key inside the room and asked at the counter. They helped me out. One thing to watch: the security looks broken, though I could still push the button. Be careful, friend!
