We booked three rooms for 5D4N, and each was clean and had a different view of Georgetown. Housekeeping came daily, and the reception team were friendly and attentive from Day 1. There are lots of tourist attractions and good food within walking distance, and Grab rides take about 5-10 minutes. Special thanks to Karthi, who helped with both check-in and check-out. We arrived at 1030 am, well before check-in time, and she helped speed up the process. Highly recommended when staying in Penang.

Karthy at the front desk made a real difference to our stay. She was friendly, professional, patient, and always ready to help with a warm smile. The rest of the staff were polite and kind, too. Our room was kept clean and well maintained by housekeeping. I don’t know the name of the staff member who cleaned room #2714 for 3, but he was very nice, friendly, and respectful. Please give him some rewards. The breakfast area team kept things clean and organized, and were attentive and friendly, which made breakfast comfortable and enjoyable each morning. From the warm welcome at arrival to the service throughout, everyone’s hospitality stood out. I had a wonderful stay and would recommend this place. I look forward to coming back.

We stayed at St. Giles Wembley Hotel from 31 May 2026 to 3 June 2026. The food was good, the atmosphere comfortable, and the staff friendly. Things went smoothly apart from the noise coming through the poor soundproofing. On our last night, we could clearly hear the guest next door talking on the phone through the connecting door from around 11:30 PM until after 12:00 AM. It happened again around 1:00 AM and lasted about 10 mins, disturbing my rest. The stay was pleasant overall, but the hotel should improve the soundproofing for a more peaceful experience.

The high ceilings were a plus, and the view was great from above level 25, since Jen hotel opposite may block it from lower floors. Road noise was noticeable because the soundproofing on the windows and in the rooms was average. I enjoyed the stay at St Giles Wembley Penang, part of CHM group. The level 30 executive lounge was conducive, and staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast selection was limited. For hot prata or roti canai, go bf at wembley cafe ground floor.

The room was very nice, with plenty of good old movies to choose from even though there’s no Netflix. They gave me everything I asked for, including early check-in, late check-out, and a bathtub. Service was excellent, with no hidden charges, and the price was very affordable. Nothing to complain about, I’ll definitely come again!
