The service is good, and the owner is a very friendly old kampung-style man. But don't come with high expectations. He and his wife are the only staff, and some rooms are okay while others aren't. None are really good, especially the lavatory. The pool is extremely dirty. The beach is nearby, so it gets windy. I wouldn't recommend it for tourists, but for locals looking for a roof over their head, it's sufficient and well priced.

We booked rooms A, B, and C, and C had several problems: the toilet was clogged and unclean, and the shower pressure was weak. All the toilets are squat-style, and there isn't a mirror in the room. The pool was dirty too, with so many people using it, including visitors who weren't staying at the accommodation.

The room was okay and reasonably clean, but the bedsheets smelled a little, and the plug socket and TV didn't work properly. One of the light bulbs needs replacing too. There's quite a bit that could be improved.

The electricity kept tripping, and management didn't seem serious about handling the outages. Inside the smallest chalet, the curtains were dirty, there were piles of very old mattresses, and there was no shower head, so you have to use a bucket for bathing and everything else. For the price, I can understand some of that, but the basics still need attention. Outside, the open dining spaces and hall have sockets that don't work, with wires dangerously exposed and old-looking plastic chairs. This place has seen better days. I know these are difficult times, but improving the basic accommodation is needed to attract more guests.
