We had such a peaceful, quiet stay and really enjoyed the place, even though it looks a little run down. The beach was the best part. There was nobody else there, so it felt like we had it all to ourselves. A good spot if you’re looking to get away from crowds. There are a few cats roaming around, so it might not suit you if you don’t like cats. There’s no café on site either. If you want food, you’ll need to tapau it and reheat it yourself.

The beach in front was perfect, and the kids had fun with all the cats around. We had total privacy, a really restful trip, and the staff were very friendly. We’d definitely come back. We stayed in the king suite at Casa Titik, and the rooms and interior sofa could use a deep clean. The toilets, especially the bathtub, need some work too.

There were lots of cats wandering around, up to 15, which young children can play with. The pool looked very clean, though nobody was using it while I was there. The rooms were clean, and the service was friendly. A decent place to stay in Cherating.

We needed an early checkout, before the usual gate opening time, and the family kindly accommodated us without any trouble. There were lots of cats around, and they seemed friendly, though we didn’t really play with them. Our King Suite was clean, although the detergent smell was a bit strong. The furnishings felt dated. It had two rooms: a master bedroom with a king bed, and a guest room with a single bed plus another mattress on the floor. There’s one bathroom. The shower pressure was good, but the tub had a few rust spots.

We’re not happy to leave this review, but the property should have been more upfront about its condition and made more effort to look presentable. It didn’t come close to the 8.4 rating shown at reception, which was from 2016. The old photos online are nice, but we felt they could mislead people, and our stay was a bad experience. Cats and dirty cat cages shouldn’t be around guest areas, especially the reception and dining area. We feel sorry for anyone who was misled by the rating and photos. If you’re considering a stay, check Google, TripAdvisor, and other reviews, or ask someone to inspect the place before booking.
