During our second night, the water was suddenly cut for piping work, and management hadn't bothered to let us know. It took an hour to come back. We'd returned from the beach hungry and cold and were left waiting to shower. There was a huge toad in the room the first night, then cockroaches the next. My friends and I stayed for two nights, 3-4 September 2024, and honestly it was the worst stay ever. I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Better to pay a little more for a proper hotel down the road. If I could give it zero stars, I would.

The only thing that earned the one star was the location, with Pasar malam Batu Ferringhi and the new Ferringhi Walk right across from it. We booked a room for the night with one queen and one single bed, but the room was old and dusty, with animal droppings on the floor. The beds were dusty too, and had hair on them. The toilet was small and moldy, and its broken door wouldn't lock. It felt like nobody had cleaned the room since a long time ago. The price didn't match the quality, and it was really disappointing.

The room and toilet were tiny, and the bedroom was really disappointing. They didn't clean the room or air conditioning. I wouldn't recommend this for families with babies or small kids. The price was way too high compared with a 3 to 4 star hotel. Breakfast was just nasi bungkus and a 3 in 1 drink. Very disappointing.

It's a cozy place in a lovely setting, and we enjoyed it a lot as a family. You can park the car and walk everywhere, with the night market right in front and the beach just two minutes away. There's plenty of food and other things around the corner. We'll definitely come back.

For authentic Indian, Pakistani, or Bangladeshi food in Penang, Malaysia, this restaurant is a must. I loved it, especially the Chicken kadai and Chicken Tikka Masala. Bonus, it's five minutes from Penang's most beautiful beach, Ferringhi ;)
