Happy BeachPad @ Bayu Emas

“Welcome to our perfect chaos.” It was very, very dirty, with a dusty floor and lots of cockroaches. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. I was very disappointed. I asked for extra cleaning because I was bringing a baby, but it was still dirty. Not worth it and not recommended.

We left as soon as we found somewhere else to stay. The apartment itself felt like a health hazard, and the pool area was dirty and boxed in by corrugated iron. The shared paths and lifts were filthy too, with rubbish and cigarette butts around. Inside, the living room had no air conditioning, the floor was dirty, and the metal items were rusty. The whole complex was run-down and badly maintained, nothing like the Agoda photos.

It was a pretty peaceful area, and we found a few local restaurants within walking distance. We stayed in a homestay here for vacation. From outside, the apartment looks old, but that was fine for us. Overnight visitor parking cost RM10 a day, which seemed reasonable. Watch out for monkeys if you park near the far end of the apartment. To get to the beach, use the road in front of Pak Mid cafe.

The building looks very old and abandoned, and it doesn't feel safe or suitable for small children. They advertise car park facilities, but you still have to pay. The service wasn't good either, and it felt like we'd been tricked.
