We couldn't get a refund, so we had to put up with one night, but this place wasn't worth a dime. The RM85 price didn't come close to matching the room, which had practically nothing in it. Everything felt cramped and limited, including the ridiculously tiny bathroom, with no convenience at all. There's no elevator, so it's a poor fit if you have knee trouble or lots of bags. The narrow hallway also makes other guests' footsteps and doors shutting sound loud and irritating. The room itself was eensy weensy, and the damp, moldy wall smell was really strong. It gave me the impression the owner was stingy about investing in the business.

Things were fine, though I expected more for what I paid. The receptionist asked me for a deposit even though my booking said none was required. I showed her the booking, she took a photo of it, and that was that.

The room was changed after booking without anyone telling us, and the toilet was tiny while the aircon was weak. It was noisy too, and the stair carpet was dirty. There was no garbage bin in the room or mini fridge. The registry guy seemed interested only in money and was very stingy, with no concern about refunding us when we downgraded. I wouldn't trust the high reviews. The integrity and service standards were zero.

The room needs improvement: water pressure was low, the toilet wasn't maintained well, and the wall between rooms was so thin we could hear the neighbors coming and going. That got pretty irritating. Still, the service was good. On 8/1/22, we stayed one night and asked at the last minute to move to level 1 because my mother couldn't manage the stairs to level 3, and they did it. The location is very strategic, within walking distance of a restaurant, night market, petrol station, and shop. A decent short stay, especially for a single person, but not so good for families or couples.
