Biz Hotel

The staff were nice and friendly, but the hotel itself is rotten and falling apart.

The cigarette smell in the corridor and room was so strong that my eyes burned and I coughed persistently through the night. By morning my eyes looked yellowish and my throat was irritated. I raised it with reception, but their suggestion to have housekeeping spray air freshener wasn’t acceptable. Check-in itself was smooth, though we had to climb two flights of stairs, and the bathroom fixtures were damaged. We paid $120 and had a horrible experience, so we packed up and moved to another hotel the next morning.

It may do if all you need is a cheap place to sleep, but don’t expect much. The walls are moldy, and judging from earlier reviews, they’ve been that way for a very long time. Water pressure was extremely weak, making it hard to use the shower properly.

There’s plenty of room to park overnight, and nearby places to eat are easy to get to. Cleanliness was average, which is about what I’d expect for the price. Fine for one night.
