The bedsheets were clean and comfortable, and the toilet was well kept and hygienic. Staff were very welcoming and happy to help with questions or requests, which made the stay pleasant. The hotel is quite old, with worn furniture and fixtures, including a few cracks and scuffs. The TV wouldn’t turn on, and there aren’t modern amenities, but it does the job for a short or budget stay. A simple, affordable option for travelers.

The hotel restaurant’s Japanese menu looked very good, though we didn’t get a chance to try it. Free parking is available, but spaces may be limited on a busy day. The place is elegantly and tastefully designed in Batu Pahat. It’s rated as a 2 stars hotel, but the room felt closer to a 4 stars one. Spotlessly clean, and everything looked brand new. Highly recommended.

The staff really stood out. The Malay male receptionist and Chinese female receptionist were so helpful, even going up to check our room during a blackout on one floor and helping us find an iron. The security uncle was friendly and polite too. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the price was affordable with no deposit required. We had a very satisfying stay at The Landmark Hotel Batu Pahat and would recommend it.

The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the room had a smart TV for watching shows. I was looking for a hotel with a good bathroom, and the rain shower had nice hot water. The room felt comfortable and the interior did look recently renovated. The Wi-Fi was quite weak, though. There was also someone watching the car park. A good stay overall.

Shops and places to eat are easy to get to from here, and the price felt reasonable for what you get. The atmosphere was relaxing, and the place was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay at The Landmark Hotel Batu Pahat and would consider booking it again when I next visit Batu Pahat.
