This budget hotel is handy for the big mall and commercial area, with plenty of food and services nearby. The receptionist on duty this afternoon was especially helpful. I’d booked the wrong dates and couldn’t check in, but she stayed polite and professional, walked me through how to contact Agoda, and helped me sort out the problem. Thanks again.

May I know the status? **15 February 2026** Thank you for the reply. Could I speak with you so we can discuss a solution? The incident happened on 26 January 2026 at 3:15pm. The hotel’s air conditioning contractor was cleaning without blocking off the parking space. Dirty water splashed onto me and my car. When I raised it, the hotel staff didn’t take steps to resolve the issue, and the contractor kept saying there was no other way to clean. The parking space should have been blocked while the work was in progress, so guests and others wouldn’t park there. Since the cleaning was known to send dirty water down onto one of the spaces, it should have been closed off to prevent this unpleasant incident. There seemed to be poor coordination and communication between the hotel and the contractor. Poor management, and it feels like they respond to positive comments but avoid accepting feedback.

The location is the only real plus. There were no proper toiletries, the toilet paper was half used, and the WiFi was so weak I had to rely on my own data for work. I woke up to lots of tiny ants on the table even though I hadn’t eaten anything the night before. The hotel moved me to another room, but that one had even more ants than the first. The cleaner working Saturday night could confirm how many there were. As for toiletries, I saw shampoo and shower gel, but no toothbrush or toothpaste. The WiFi barely loaded anything. I showed the receptionist on Friday night how slow it was. The evidence is there. I was fed up, and I won’t come back. This was the worst hotel I’ve seen. Book at your own risk if you’re willing to deal with ants and use your own data.

A clean, cozy little place for an overnight stop, with Queensbay Mall just a stone’s throw away. The room is on the small side, but if you only need a clean bed to sleep in, I’d recommend it.
