The room was in good condition overall, though the floor was dusty and the air conditioning wasn’t very cold, so it may need maintenance. That’s understandable during the Gawai festive season. The counter staff were very friendly.

Parking was easy to find, with lots of food places nearby. I stayed in a Superior King Room with a mini bar at a reasonable price. It was spacious, and the king-sized bed was very comfortable. Breakfast came with vouchers and was à la carte rather than buffet. The staff service was okay and the amenities were fairly complete, but the WiFi could be better. Cleanliness and room upkeep need improvement, and I could hear the guest next door because the room wasn’t soundproof. The cash-only deposit was inconvenient, so hopefully they add a card option. A decent first stay, with room to improve.

The room and sheets were clean, but that didn’t make up for the poor hygiene and maintenance elsewhere. There was hair on the dirty toilet bowl, the sink was clogged and drained very slowly, the cabinet handles were loose, and even the mugs were dirty. The morning front desk staff were unfriendly and unprofessional. Housekeeping standards and staff training seriously need work. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

The location and beds were comfortable, but the rest was bad. The phone smelled and didn’t seem to have been cleaned or sanitized. The bath towel smelled bad and had a hole. There was no water supply to the bidet or flush, and the bathroom basin was badly designed. The stained bathroom door looked old and dirty. Breakfast was stressful because there weren’t enough staff to help customers, and I even had to serve myself the eggs. I don’t recommend this hotel except for its location.
