Barrington Square

The location works really well: the night market is a three-minute walk downhill, the area is calm, and attractions are within 15 minutes when there's no traffic jam. I've picked this area for my stay three times in a row. The rooms are cozy with good bathrooms, and my daughters loved the Hello Kitty decorations. The satellite TV has basic channels, which was all we needed, and the Wi-Fi was very fast for my wife and me to communicate. Service was good overall, though we initially had no towels. The PIC only replied to my complaint 12 hours later, but the owner responded quickly, and I got the towels within half an hour of that. That's why I can't give it a bad review or a perfect score. A very nice stay overall.

The location makes it very easy to get between places, and the night market is right across the road from the homestay. You can also enjoy a majestic view as the haze and clouds shift from afternoon into evening. Just be careful with some sellers, who may not be frank about their corn and strawberries. Check the strawberry container against the price elsewhere, and for corn, don't trust the seller unless you can pick it yourself. Highly recommended.

The weather was nice, and having 7-11 and other shops downstairs was very convenient if we needed anything. The weekend pasar malam was another plus. The place was okay, with average upkeep, and the Airbnb could have been better. Would I book again? Maybe, but I'd look around for a better place first.

It's a spacious, comfortable one-bedroom apartment, and the water heater works really well. I planned a weekday trip and was pleasantly surprised that the night market was open every day during the school holidays. It's within walking distance. Noise was the only issue. You can hear all kinds of sounds from who knows where, including the night market, corridor, and neighboring block. My partner and I didn't mind much, but you might if you're sensitive to noise.
