Dreamscape Apartment @ Golden Hills

The balcony view is astonishing, and the place is convenient for the night market, Speedmart, Mynews, and lots of restaurants. It was really comfortable for our family of 5. The room is spacious and could fit 7 or 8 people.

There was a fly in the toilet when we entered, and the floor trap seemed to be stuck. The TV had a blank screen. I messaged staff, and maintenance came up, took a picture, and did nothing further. The listing says “Free WiFi,” but there wasn't any. Staff first said WiFi was down and would be back in the afternoon. At 6 PM, after I sent another message, staff said the Dreamscape unit had no WiFi provided. The unit was also advertised as having a “fully equipped kitchen,” and my booking for a “2bedroom family suite” showed a picture of a full stove with pots. There was no proper kitchenware, and staff said cooking wasn't allowed. I have screenshots of our unpleasant conversation. When I book hotels or apartments, “fully equipped kitchen” means a stove to me. Staff were rude and unprofessional. I was told the tax was RM 3, then it suddenly changed to RM 30. They said this was because of a “new SOP starting on 1 December,” even though it was before that date. It felt misleading and possibly dishonest. These problems made the stay stressful and very unpleasant. I feel the facilities were misrepresented and fees charged unfairly. I'll tell fellow travellers not to stay in this apartment building for holidays.

To the owner of A-1-21: For what I paid, this room was extremely disappointing and not worth the money. It felt neglected and unhygienic. The mattress and pillows were old, flat, and covered with yellow stains and mould. The walls were in terrible shape and covered in mould too. Chalk paint in this kind of weather? The place needs proper maintenance.

The receptionist came late, so I couldn't check out and get my deposit on time. It delayed my trip and I missed my bus. I called several times, but nobody answered or called back. The service should be available 24 hours, and management needs to address worker discipline. Manager, please do your job.
