The place was filthy. There was rubbish under the couch, the floor hadn’t been swept, and the toilet had hair left by the previous user. The bedsheets also had hair all over them and hadn’t been changed. The downlight wasn’t working, leaving the room dark and feeling haunted. Worst resort in Malaysia, and I wouldn’t advise booking.

The pictures showed a balcony, but there wasn’t one, which was disappointing. The fridge and bed especially weren’t very clean, and the cupboard was dusty too. The water heater didn’t work properly. It wasn’t what I expected, and I hope they improve things for future guests.

This was our second stay at Iris Resort, and we loved this apartment. It had three rooms, a fully furnished kitchen and living area, and was comfortable overall.

The apartment was spacious, but very dirty, with broken things in the room and an unfriendly feel. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The golf course view and the cool breeze through the front and balcony doors were nice. The penthouse has four rooms, each with a private bathroom, and can fit up to 10, so it could work for a group of friends or family if the apartment is kept up. It’s near the golf course, next to smoke house, and close to you. The unit is very basic, with a kettle, rice cooker?, fridge, and hair dryer. The TV had nothing on it, so I’d suggest removing it to save costs. The golf course view is about all there is to shout about. The rooms aren’t set up for sleeping late, so bring an eye cover if you don’t wake before sunrise. Service was good: they took me up to view the place, arranged an extra pillow, and were very polite and attentive.
