The room was decent, with a window, water heater and an okay bed, though the TV didn't work. The receptionist, one auntie, gave such good service that I'd rate her five stars, while the room gets four. I chose this hotel because it was closest to the astrophotography spot near the kea farm sunset spot. I called first and was told a single room cost rm100, but when I arrived the price was 30% higher. Then I found the online Agoxx platform had it for rm88 after tax. It was my own fault for not comparing prices in advance. This was a spontaneous trip and I didn't plan it carefully, but I've learned to check the prices beforehand.

The crosswalk is poorly designed and causes heavy traffic in both directions.

The hotel has parking, and the main road nearby makes it easy to get to Nova or Sg Palas Boh tea. There are lots of shop lots around too. Right beside the hotel are famous Puku ice-cream and sheep sanctuary, both places to visit.

Recommended. It's in the center of the small town, with friendly staff, free parking lots and free Wi-Fi, though the data transmission is a bit slow. Restaurants aren't far away, and the restroom was clean. The TV was the one disappointment, it wasn't working.

The view from the highest floor, looking down over the valley, was lovely, especially with the cold night breeze. We stayed 3 nights for 2 pax. It's a clean, simple place, run by Ms. Sally & Mr. Joe, who are both caring and good people. If you get hungry, just cross the road for a quick bite, strawberries or ice cream. We'll come back.
