Madani Hotel Cameron Highlands by OYO Rooms

The location is very strategic, right in the middle of Brinchang town, with a mosque nearby, eateries all around and a short uphill walk to the Centrum. It is noisy, though, since the hotel faces the main road. Parking was difficult too, and I had to circle around several times to find a spot. The room felt outdated, the TV didn't work, and the bathroom exhaust fan was very loud. There was just one iron and ironing board for the whole hotel, on the 1st floor, so I had to wait my turn. For what it was, it felt a bit pricey. Just okay for one night.

The place didn't look like what they showed on Google or the websites. Within 10mins of checking in, I asked for a refund. I spotted cockroaches and a leaking washroom, and the carpet was so dirty I couldn't walk on it without selipar. There was only 1 plug point, already being used for the fan. Check the room with your eyes before proceeding with payment.

The shower was bad, there was no warm water, and the toilet ceiling was covered in fungus. The slippers were in very poor condition. Some of my friends didn't get breakfast, and there were no hangers or mineral water. The tray was stained and the cups were dirty. The room wasn't clean, though it wasn't dirty either. Soundproofing was poor, so we could hear people talking and screaming in the corridor. My room happened to have a not-so-nice view, and parking was hard. Add some rm20 or 30 and you can have a better hotel. No, no, no.

The TV didn't work, and there was only 1 plug suiz. No hot water, no mineral water, no shower at all, and I couldn't cook hot water. The room was expensive and disappointing. I don't recommend it, and this was my first and last stay here. 😔
