The tent was clean, and everything inside worked well for us. We had a lovely night, with cool weather that made it easy to relax, and there were no mosquitoes. Breakfast was Japanese style and really nice. Adlien greeted us with a smile and took great care of us at check-in and during breakfast. The staff carried our bags to the room and even brought us an umbrella when it was raining. We stayed one night and would definitely come back.

The gated compound and private parking were reassuring, especially since we drove. Staff usually replied quickly to questions, too. But our room was untidy when we arrived, with rubbish around the grounds and dirt marks on the mattress. Staff said they had rushed to get the room ready after check-in, although we hadn’t pushed them. At night, the tents were so close together that we could hear people talking, making noise, and snoring. Getting there was unpleasant because the road was bumpy and poorly maintained. The site is in a marketplace, and the evening traffic made it hard to have a peaceful night out. It felt too commercialized for the quiet holiday escape many people want. We’d asked ahead about birthday offers and were told there weren’t any. Then, at checkout, we heard about packages and offers, which made it seem like the social media team wasn’t communicating well with the on-site staff. The staff were generally responsive, but that answer was frustrating.

The staff were attentive, friendly, and quick to help keep me comfortable. I loved the Japanese garden theme, especially the music in the zen garden. It felt calm and carefully put together, a lovely place to unwind and recharge among nature while still having thoughtful comforts. I’d recommend it for a peaceful getaway.

We stayed in the Nami cottage with the breakfast and dinner package, and both the bento breakfast and the hotpot and grill dinner were delicious and generous. They even sent us hot chocolate with marshmallow for the Christmas season. The resort was quiet and serene, with cozy rooms, a nicely landscaped Japanese garden, and zen music playing through the day. The staff were very friendly, and WhatsApp customer service was quick to respond. We went for a zen retreat and walked to the Tokyo Town flea market, just three minutes away. It has a nice Tokyo theme. We were too full to try the snacks, though.
