The staff made the biggest impression on me. From the doorman to the front office team, everyone we met was welcoming and hospitable. We even added another room while checking in because the rates were reasonable. Both rooms were clean and well kept, and I really liked the pleasing color tones. Breakfast was good and the tables had enough space between them, so it didn’t feel too crowded. The buffet was affordable, too. One small annoyance: the floor around the buffet, where there was no carpet, felt a bit sticky. We could hear our footsteps sticking as we walked away 😂 We appreciated having a vending machine in the lobby and used it for convenience. A suggestion for the kids’ room on L27: could you add some basic toys or fun storybooks for elementary and primary school children?

The big pool was such a hit with the kids that we extended our stay until 6pm to enjoy it. We’d booked two rooms for four adults and four children, and everyone had a great time during our short visit. There was also a bathtub in the bathroom. Thanks to Fara, Hilmi n Aina for accommodating our request and making us feel well looked after.
Adry, Helmi, Fara and Aina made me feel like a princess with their warm, thoughtful hospitality. They made my stay at Dorsett Hartamas Kuala Lumpur really special and comfortable, and the breakfast was lovely too, with lots of delicious, well-prepared options. The suite was spacious and comfortable, with large windows, a separate living room, plenty of wardrobe space, a full bathroom and an extra powder room. The room itself felt solid, though the surrounding view wasn’t much to look at. Breakfast tasted decent, but the dining area could have been cleaner. The kitchen staff didn’t seem especially welcoming, which took away from the experience a little. The elevator area also felt awkward and inefficient to move through. Still, it was an okay stay, with a very roomy suite and a few service details that could improve.
Our kids enjoyed this family-friendly residence, and we’d be happy to come back. The house was comfortable, the facilities were good, and check-in and check-out went smoothly. Recommended for a stay with children.
