Room 109 was not bad, and the price was cheap, with dpulze nearby. But getting into the hotel was ridiculous. We arrived at 2pm, the stated check-in time, and found the lobby door locked. We waited outside with all our luggage and knocked, but nobody came. After we called the number on the door, the receptionist arrived at 2.35pm and said he'd been out for lunch. Then the first room offered, 209, had a serious mold problem. We asked to switch and waited another 20 minutes while the new room was prepared. It took about an hour in total. Room 209 had mold, and the service was the worst. Better to book foxlite hotel across the street.

The room still hadn't been cleaned even after I left. Its rubbish bin was nearly full and the toilet stayed wet. When I arrived around 3 PM, it wasn't ready, and I overheard a cleaner saying she was still working on it after the front office asked. Staff told me housekeeping only happens every two days, which was disappointing.

I asked for a late checkout after my room wasn't ready until nearly 5pm, even though I arrived at 2.30pm. They said it had been given to another guest. The next day I was still told to leave by 12pm because staff hadn't communicated properly. The whole thing was frustrating and a waste of time.

I was already disappointed that the hotel I'd booked wasn't available when I arrived early in the morning, so I looked nearby and called this place. The woman on the phone quoted RM150, and I agreed, but at the hotel she charged me RM190. I was tired, but I clearly heard her say RM150 and that checkout had to be by 1pm latest. She kept gaslighting me, saying I'd misheard her. I paid RM190 and took the room anyway. There was a cockroach in it too, photo for prof. Not a good experience at all.
