The location made it easy to get around Cyberjaya and nearby Putrajaya, with shops, cafés, and places to eat within walking distance. I found the building secure, with card access and security around. My room was spacious and comfortable, and the kitchenette, fridge, washing machine, and microwave were handy. The bed was comfortable too, and the Wi-Fi worked well the whole time. The pool and gym were a nice extra, especially for a longer stay. Cleanliness was generally good, though the maintenance could use a little more attention to detail. The staff were friendly and helpful, although service was sometimes a bit slow. I had a pleasant stay at Shaftsbury Stellar Cyberjaya Hotel (formerly Shaftsbury Serviced Residences). It felt like good value, whether you're travelling for work, with family, or staying longer in Cyberjaya. I'd consider coming back.

Early this morning, the security guard came out of the security room to ask why I wasn't opening the residents' exit gate myself. Usually security opens it for us. If he had time to walk over and ask, he could've just opened it, which he eventually did anyway. Pretty stupid and it put me in a bit of a bad mood.

The pool view is nice, but the electricity bill was over RM300 for a studio with two people, no TV, and regular 9-to-5 work schedules. Parking was decent for our rental, and the pool itself was good. Just be aware that parcels and food can get stolen here.

We paid RM60 for Room 9-13A, but the stay was so unsettling that we checked out right away. I genuinely felt the room had something spiritually unclean about it, almost like a haunted room. The air conditioner wasn't cooling properly, then switched itself off even though the remote was untouched and sitting in front of the TV. My roommate and I turned it back on, but soon water started running in the bathroom as if someone had opened the tap. The empty mini fridge also started making strange noises. We rushed through a shower and left. Even before going inside, I had sensed something was off. The room was the second-to-last one along the corridor. At first I didn't think much of it since we were only staying briefly, but the things that happened while we were lying down made us very uneasy.
