Electus by Windmill Genting

Breakfast was outstanding, with plenty of variety and great quality. The suites were wonderful and comfortable, and the staff were courteous, professional, and caring throughout my stay at Genting Grand Hotel. Special thanks to the reception team, especially Lieza, plus housekeeping, spa and concierge. They all went above and beyond to make the visit memorable. Highly recommend it for a top-class stay.

The amenities and service were great, and the hotel is within walking distance of the main area of the complex. The rooms are a bit small, as they are at the other Resorts World hotels too. If you can, this is probably the best hotel in the group.

There’s lots of food downstairs, and the hotel is close to one of the casinos. I really liked the comfortable room, especially its bathtub and cozy living area. Come stay with your family.

A special thanks to Wei Fang from Customer Service, who helped change my stay dates before I arrived. The process was smooth and seamless, and her professionalism and helpfulness made a lasting impression. During my visit, most staff I met were friendly and welcoming, especially the housekeeping team on my floor. Front Office staff were helpful and informative at check-in and check-out. The main improvement needed is clearer queuing guidance at check-in, since lines got confusing and people cut in, especially when busy. I stayed in a Grand Premier room at Genting Grand and was pleasantly surprised by how spacious, clean and comfortable it was, almost like a studio apartment. It was stocked with water, toiletries, slippers and other amenities. The medium-soft mattress and pillows made for a restful night. At the peak of RWG, the naturally cool air meant no air conditioning was needed. Getting to SkyWorld and the theme parks was relatively quick. For first-time guests, the fastest route is the escalator next to Coffee Terrace, past Cloud9, McDonald’s and KFC, then down another escalator to Malaysian Food Street. That’s much faster than following signs from the main entrance. It was a wonderful stay, and I’d gladly return.
