Resorts World Genting – Genting SkyWorlds Hotel

The cool mountain air and the sunrise were highlights for us. In the morning, the sun coming up over the clouds and mountains looked beautiful, and we never needed to turn on the air-conditioning. Our room at Genting SkyWorlds Hotel was clean, comfortable, and simply arranged, with fun cartoon touches that made it welcoming for families. The staff were patient and helpful, especially when we needed directions or had questions about getting around. The walk from the lobby to our room was long, which was tiring after a full day out. The hotel has expanded to fit more guests, so that distance can be a drawback. We did appreciate the ramps to each building, a thoughtful feature for guests with mobility needs. We enjoyed the stay and found it family-friendly, with good service.

It’s a 3 star hotel, with clean rooms and the necessary amenities. The location near the theme park is convenient. Rooms for four or six people make it good value for families and larger groups.

Kids can have fun right in the lobby, which has a playground and character meet-and-greets. The hotel connects directly to Skyworld Theme Park, as well as places like Sky Avenue Mall and Skytropolis. The room worked well for children and older people. It was cold and windy enough that we didn’t need air-conditioning, and we needed spring or early-winter clothes to stay warm.

We stayed at Genting SkyWorlds Hotel from 16-18 January 2026, and found it clean, comfortable, and well placed for our Genting Highlands trip. What stood out most was how the staff handled a lost item. After we got home to Kuching, we realized my wife had left her newly purchased Nike windbreaker behind. Housekeeping found it promptly. Mr. BJ and the Housekeeping team were professional and helpful, and the management arranged to courier the jacket back without charging us. That kind of care and honesty meant a lot. We’d happily stay again.
