The room was clean and the agent was helpful, but the apartment management made the stay extremely disappointing. Rules at the swimming pool and playground felt excessive and unreasonable, and security kept watching us and reprimanding us over trivial things. My children were repeatedly stopped and warned even though I was supervising them the whole time. The intrusive, strict approach made the place stressful and uncomfortable, with no room to enjoy ourselves. I deeply regret staying here. It’s completely unsuitable for families with children, and even apartments in Kuala Lumpur are much more relaxed and family-friendly. The management feels rigid to an unreasonable degree. I wouldn’t recommend it to families or anyone looking for a comfortable stay.

The kids loved the swimming pool and playground, and the adults got to unwind after all the wedding activities. We came back to Penang for the second time, this time with family for my younger sibling’s wedding, and stayed 3 nights at Beacon Executive Suites. It was a cozy stay that made the trip even more memorable, and gave us another reason to return to Penang. 💛 My sibling chose it because we had little ones with us, and it worked out really well. The apartment-style suite was spacious, clean, and equipped with everything a family needs. It felt just like home.

The stay seemed fine until we went swimming. A man who said he was management pointed at me and told me to get out of the pool. I asked why, and he said he wanted to check my attire. I went up and let him check, and after that he said it was okay. Then he told everyone else to get out for checking too. I asked why he was doing this during swimming instead of before we entered the pool. He said he could because he was management. A woman kept recording and taking photos throughout the conversation. The man asked which unit I was from; when I asked why it mattered, he said, “So you do not want to let me know your unit number?” When we went up and signed, security made a note beside the sign. I asked what it was for, but they wouldn’t answer. It was a very bad experience. During the conversation the man shouted at me, scolded me, and ordered me to come up, as if I’d done something wrong, though he didn’t know whether I had. He kept pointing one finger at me while speaking and told me not to yell at him, even though he was the one scolding me. The woman kept filming without acknowledging me. Security had already checked us before we entered the pool and said it was okay. If our attire wasn’t proper, they should have stopped us before we got in, not halfway through swimming. The management’s attitude was bad, and whenever I asked why, the answer was “I’m the management.” He also annoyed other people who were in the pool. I’m here to travel, not fight. I don’t know what management wanted to highlight with this. I’m very angry about the service and attitude, and definitely don’t recommend this place for living.

A superb apartment, with an infinity pool and a kids pool that’s good for families. Lots of the hyped-up or hidden gem spots are within a 7 to 10 minutes ride. Highly recommend.
