The first floor smelled bad, and the toilets had many broken things. The hotel has a lot of problems for the price, which is also high. Its location is near 7 elevel, but there's no signboard or sign to help you find it, so you have to check MAP. There's no office to leave your luggage or bags, and no waiting area. When checking out of another hotel at 12, people may want to leave their bags at the next hotel and wait for check-in, but you can't do that here. I wouldn't recommend a hotel run by a lady owner. They seem happy to take the money but don't like providing service. Worst hotel in penang.

The location is strategic, with gurney drive hawker right across from the hotel and gurney plaza about a three-minute walk away. The room is clean enough and standard for the price. The service wasn't very good, though. The crew weren't friendly, seemed to rush, and were slow to respond.

The room is small but has what you need for the price, so it works for a one-day stay. It's next to a 7-11 and Gurney Market, making it easy to find food. I'd recommend it to travellers who just need a convenient place to stay.

I booked the room through agoda, and check-in was self-service. The room was tidy and clean, and the bathroom was clean too. The Wi-Fi was awful, very slow.
