For Georgetown, it’s an affordable hostel with comfortable beds and a clean bathroom. The sheets could’ve been cleaner, but I still had a nice stay. A few nearby bars mean some noise at night, though earplugs were enough to handle it.

We stayed at Summer Spring Hotel for a couple of weeks, and the private rooms were roomy, clean and comfortable, with a desk and chair. The staff were quick to respond and helped with anything we needed. It’s a convenient spot with plenty of places to eat nearby. Our king room faced the front of the building, so weekends could get a little loud at night, but it didn’t bother me and I slept fine. For complete quiet, choose the queen room.

The room was spacious, with a queen bed and separate toilet, sink, and shower. The contact person was nice, and getting settled was quick and easy. This is a good budget option right in the heart of Georgetown, close to nightlife, Little India, and the esplanade. The lobby is very basic, just a couch and water dispenser. The place seemed quite new, and we appeared to be the only guests, apart from a few people who seemed to know the owner. Reception isn't staffed all the time, so you may need to call the owner using the number outside.

You may not see the owner or a receptionist during your stay, but you can WhatsApp the owner, which was fine by me. The location is the main draw, with pubs, restaurants, and heritage sites all within walking distance. There was pub music the first night, though I could still sleep, and I didn't hear it the second night. I stayed for two nights. The dorm room was clean, with its own toilet, working hot water, and air conditioning.

There were bugs in the bed, and the room had a really bad smell. The air conditioner was old and too small to cool the room, and the toilet hand shower was broken. When we arrived, the doors were locked and nobody was there. We called, then waited outside for 10 minutes before someone came.
