There’s a local hawker center right outside, with good, inexpensive local food at night. The hostel itself was clean and had the usual amenities. I especially appreciated the clothes drying rack in the bathroom for doing laundry, since plenty of hostels don’t have one. It seems to be family run, and the staff were kind and helpful. The host made small talk and offered some advice for my travel plans. The location is central in Georgetown, with a major mall, bus station, and 7/11 all a little over five minutes away on foot. I stayed two nights and would come back if I’m in the area.

The dorm entrance needs an electronic key, which every guest gets, so I felt good about the security. They’ll also provide a locker for free if you ask. The bed was comfortable, and the AC was very cold. Fortunately, the blanket was thick enough. Good value for money.

The beds are comfortable and private, the place is clean, and the showers are good. The location is really good, so I’d recommend staying here. WiFi stayed connected and worked for browsing, though sometimes it struggled with YouTube videos. It wasn’t a big problem. Thanks for a great stay!

The private box beds were comfortable, and the place was clean. It’s well located, about 2 mn from komtar bus station and a 10 mn walk to the heart of George town. A couple of things could be better. There was sometimes nobody at reception to ask for information. Also, there’s no hostel sign, which made it a bit hard to spot. Look for the A4 paper on the door.

Really comfy beds, and the husband and wife and staff were so welcoming. I’d come back and extend my stay. They deserve more than 100 stars.
