Zoom Hotel

There are lots of places to explore for food nearby, and the hotel itself is fairly new, around two years old. You can refill your water here, and there’s a luggage scale in the lobby to weigh your bags before heading to the airport. If you book a room with a window, though, you won’t know what time it is.

Everything in the room worked as it should, from the shower and AC to the hair dryer and kettle, and the place felt peaceful and comfortable. It was clean, modern, and cozy, and the room looked just like the photos. The staff were friendly and helpful too. There’s a 7-Eleven and Watsons nearby. Since this is a Chinese-friendly area, I didn’t find many food choices that suited me and ended up getting things from the supermarket instead.

The service was quick, the hotel was very clean, and the location worked really well for me. I enjoyed almost everything, but the pillows were too hard. More fluffy pillows would be nice.

The location was okay. We walked to most places in the evening when it was cooler, and mostly got grabs during the day. The room was clean, though the cleaning product was so strong it made me dizzy just walking to it. The bed was alright, but the pillows were terrible. I could hear my neighbour switching on the lights because the rooms are so poorly soundproofed. The Wi-Fi kept disconnecting, so I relied on mobile data the whole time. It’s not a good place if you need to work. The staff weren’t friendly and offered only basic service. For what I paid and how the place is advertised, I expected much more. It has the potential to be great, but it felt mediocre, and I wouldn’t recommend it or stay here again.
