The owner let our whole group have one room without sharing it with other guests, which was great. It was quiet too, with no bar or food place music coming into the room from Love Lane. The room felt cozy for the price, with a hotel-like bed, cold air conditioning, a nice hot shower, and a clean toilet. The property is new, well kept, and superbly clean. A lovely budget stay for couples or friends.

It's well placed in the middle of the old town, and the room was fine for the price. As other reviews mention, it's loud late at night and there's little natural light. I had a mixed stay, pretty much what you'd expect for what you pay. We were charged an extra 3 RM per night even though Booking.com had already collected a hidden tax. It's not a lot, but why pay twice? We didn't run into that at other places in Penang. The man who seems to be front of house was also really rude, which made dealing with him frustrating.

The WiFi was fine, and the door uses a combination lock. My room was clean, the AC worked, and it was very quiet while I was there. It's a hostel.

My first stay in a smart intelligent hotel, and I loved it. The room was very clean and comfortable. You can walk to the famous hawker street, and lots of attractions are close by.
