A terrible experience. Parking was shown online, but the three spaces by the entrance were already full when we arrived. The employee said parking was first come, first served and, if no space was available, there was none. He told us to stop at the door and call when a spot opened, even though that blocked part of the lane and felt dangerous, with accidents seeming possible at any moment. Then he ignored us when we asked to cancel and wouldn’t respond. We eventually found parking ourselves after 20 minutes. In the room, there was a strong musty smell, long hair on the chairs, and wet toilet paper. This is the first time I’ve left a hotel a bad review.

Mr Khan at the front desk made me feel especially welcome. He walked me through the amenities and checked that the room facilities were in order. I’d like to try one of their other themed hotels too.

I had a good stay for the price, and the bathtub was a real plus. I needed to get some work done, though, and there wasn’t a proper desk. The staff kindly brought me a box when I asked, so I could raise the low table meant for luggage and work more comfortably.

The reception officer wasn’t welcoming, and I only got a smile from a different staff member when we checked out. The room also seemed poorly maintained: I had to tune the TV channels manually before I could watch anything, and the “jacuzzi” was sitting on chipped bricks. In hindsight, the low room rate should’ve warned me.
