Even though it's close to busy MacAlister Road, about 1 km away, and Gurney Drive, about 2 km away, the place was surprisingly quiet. Jalan Burma, a nearby parallel road, is one of Penang's food spots. The location is a real plus. The flats have an old 80s-90s style but are maintained reasonably well, with acceptable security. The parking, pool, garden, and shared areas were tidy. Views are limited because taller flats surround the building. Our flat was clean, though it could've been cleaner. The sheets and blankets didn't feel fresh, and there were hairs and crawling insects when we arrived. There's no refuse chamber on each floor, so you have to take rubbish all the way to the guard house. The hot water and air conditioning both worked well. I'd still recommend a stay, as long as expectations are managed.

Siti was very efficient and got things done quickly, which helped make my stay wonderful. The apartment was well equipped, with air conditioning available 24/7. Our room was clean and spacious, and the rate was affordable. The pool was great, though a bit old. Adding Wi-Fi would make it fully comfortable. Highly recommended.

A convenient place to stay on Penang island. The main thing to improve is the apartment access door. Its lock is too difficult to use, and the design should be more user friendly.
