Room 302 faces the wall of the next building rather than the main road, so it was quieter. I was traveling alone and thought the value was terrific at SGD30 a night. The room was spotless, new, and well renovated. The bathroom tiling was especially neat. There’s no fridge or kettle, but I didn’t need either and was glad not to pay for them. The WiFi was weak enough that I couldn’t use my laptop on it. That was fine for me because I had a local SIM card and used my phone as a hotspot. Pure Family wellness massage opposite is really good. Malls and key sightseeing points are a short walk away, or a Grab should cost below RM10 if you’re feeling lazy.

The host was great, quick to respond and helpful, and the room was very clean. Good price and a central location, with an easy walk to places. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel, so catching Rapid Penang is simple.

We really loved staying at Maca Hotel and plan to come back soon. The host replied very quickly, and the staff were polite and helpful. Our room was clean, had all the amenities we needed, and the air conditioning kept it cool, which my mom and I really appreciated. It’s close to food spots like New Lane culinary, and public transport is easy to get to. Thanks for your hospitality.

My husband and I had such a lovely one-night stay at Maca Hotel. After a full day of traveling, coming back to a spotless, cozy room that was so thoughtfully cared for felt great. We wished we could have stayed longer, and we’ll definitely choose Maca Hotel next time we’re in Penang.
