It’s right behind a row of shoplots full of restaurants, so the location gets five stars. The hotel has a very oriental interior that made me feel like I was in China. My ratings: room spaciousness 3 stars, lighting 3, bed comfort 4, room cleanliness 3. The shower gets 3 for both spaciousness and cleanliness. Reception service was 3 stars, room service 4. Overall, 3 stars. Would I come again? Yes.
8/10
The rooms were spacious, clean and big, and the rate was quite affordable. The catch is that you’ll only find Chinese food here, with no Indian food nearby, so you’ll need to make your own arrangements.
6/10
The room has a Chinese medicine smell because the hotel is associated with a wellness Center. It’s sufficient for a night, especially since you’re unlikely to spend the whole day in the room, but there’s nothing special about it. The hotel is behind a row of shophouses in Gohtong Jaya, so there are quite a few vacancies.
8/10
It was cool up in the mountains, but I still ran the air conditioning at night. It’s optional, and rooms without A/C cost a little less, so be sure to specify if you want it. The room was clean and quiet, and we slept well. I liked being near the cable car stations that go to the top, and the price seemed reasonable.
6/10
The price is inexpensive and it’s a nice place to stay, but the quality of the room environment needs improvement.
