Le Vert Boutique Hotel

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. The first room we got at check-in had a leaking air conditioner, and the technicians were hard to communicate with and had a poor attitude. We asked to switch rooms, but they refused. After we finally changed rooms, the new one smelled strongly of urine. The morning and night receptionists were very rude. Service was bad, and the bed was hard, dirty, and felt like sleeping on springs. The price didn’t make sense for what we got. I hope management takes the cleanliness and customer service problems seriously.

There’s plenty of room, but the air conditioning barely cools it down. We had a technician come check it, and the room was still warm afterward. It feels like a budget hotel.

Getting around the hotel was a hassle. If you miss the entrance, you have to make one U-turn to go back and another at the roundabout to reach the property. Even driving back from a nearby restaurant means doing that double U-turn, so walking may be easier. Parking was the bigger shock. I’ve never stayed somewhere that charged the full parking rate, and if the lot is full, parking out front costs RM50 a day. I tried asking security guard Bil Bahadur for help, but he wasn’t helpful.

The balcony was very dirty when I arrived, possibly because it faces a construction area. The TV channels provided didn’t work properly, and there wasn’t even an in-house TV option. I asked staff to fix it, but the non-local worker I spoke to didn’t understand English. For what I paid, the place felt pricey given that there are no facilities. I may choose a different hotel next time.
