Midhills At Genting by Sparrow Homes

The house matched the photos, and the host was super friendly. It’s easy for elderly people to access, but being on the lower ground means you hear kids playing in the pool and people walking along the corridor. I didn’t get a peaceful night’s sleep. genting secret gardenz👍🏻

There’s no Wi-Fi or air conditioning, but it was fairly chilly, and mobile data worked fine for us on Celcom&Umobile. Noise carries between rooms too, including chairs being dragged in nearby rooms and upstairs. Our room had space for 5-6 people, and the service was great. They let us check in at 12pm even though the usual time is 4pm. We visited during peak season, and getting a taxi or other transport was difficult. Sometimes we waited up to two hours. The location is at the corner.

The room was nice and the facilities were quite okay, but housekeeping left us with damp replacement bedsheets. I don’t know how they thought that was acceptable. This will be my last visit!

Cleanliness was quite okay, but the furniture and bed are old, and they don’t provide Wi-Fi, which is pretty ridiculous. Check that before booking. I paid RM300++ a night during the holiday season, and the facilities weren’t worth that price. Below 150, it would be okay.
