Resort World Genting Highlands Formerly Awana Genting

We tried the iftar staycation package on our first visit to awana, and it turned out to be a charming surprise. The room was large, the view was great, and the firm beds and pillows were comfortable. The buffet had a generous spread, and the open-concept reception and quiet, peaceful setting were nice too. A few things could be better: there was dust on the balcony, the furniture is dated though functional, and hotel guests seemed to be seated at the far end for iftar because corporate bookings were prioritized. We’ll definitely come again.

Razak made a big difference to our stay. He was friendly, attentive, and especially helpful with my daughter Amanda. He even went looking for her to make sure check-in went smoothly. She can be quite particular, so it was lovely to see her feel comfortable with him. Ain at the front desk was professional and informative at check-in. Haron and another concierge team member, whose name I didn’t catch, were very helpful with our luggage. The Auxiliary Police officers were friendly too, and took time to play and interact with Amanda as we checked out. My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Resorts World Awana Genting. We felt welcomed and genuinely cared for, and were extremely satisfied. We’ll be back very soon. Highly recommended!

The team made us feel welcome from the start, especially Razak, who greeted us warmly. At checkout he personally thanked us and encouraged us to return, which left a lasting impression. Two polite, friendly gentlemen handled check-in and were especially considerate when they noticed I was with my mother, who uses a wheelchair. Their kindness meant a lot. The lady at breakfast’s cashier desk was pleasant and attentive, too, making things easy. We had a wonderful stay at Awana Genting Highlands. The hospitality really impressed me, and I think other hotels could learn from it. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely come again.

The outdoor play area was our favourite part. We had a little picnic with the provided mat and small pillow while the kids played all evening. Our room was clean and cozy, with a stunning view of the Genting Highland. A big thank you to En Razak, a dedicated Manager who looked after us so passionately throughout the stay. Great weekend getaway. We’ll definitely come back.
