Basic, new, and clean, with a really good location. Very good value for the price. One of the top picks in Miri for visitors or people just passing through.

The location was a plus, with food stalls conveniently close by and plenty of meal choices. But my stay was far from pleasant. As soon as I entered the room, I noticed a strong cigarette smell. I also found several cockroaches, which was unacceptable and made me question the hotel’s cleanliness and hygiene. I was puzzled that they wanted a deposit even though I’d already paid the full amount for my stay in advance.

Everything was within walking distance, parking was easy, and the location was perfect. The woman at reception was very friendly, though the guy wasn’t so much. The bathroom was okay, but the curtains were really dirty and moldy. The room was hot like a furnace during the day, and the air conditioning couldn’t keep up. There were only 3 power inlets for 3 people, and one was for the TV.

There was a lot of noise from the many activities around, so this isn’t the place for a quiet stay. The location is superb, though, near eateries and a mall, with good food within a 5 minute walk. The reception staff were warm and gave us some tips. Room facilities were very basic, and the elevator at 3rd floor was down while we were there. There was some confusion about our payment, but it was sorted out before checkout. Check-in also requires a RM50 cash deposit.

A decent, affordable place near a shopping mall, with lots of lovely food stalls at night. Mr Yugi at the front desk was great and helpful. Thanks 👍
