Vista Residence Genting Highlands

We’ve stayed here twice with family, and both visits were enjoyable. The unit, Maple Home, booked through Agoda, is very spacious. We like the big fridge, microwave, and decoration, and the view from the high floor is superb. You have to collect and return the key at another location, Geo38 Residence, which may be inconvenient if you aren’t driving. It’s a very nice, relaxing stay at a reasonable price. Recommended!

We found everything well organized when we arrived, and the fully furnished unit had the amenities we needed for a comfortable, easy stay. The view was a highlight too. Waking up to that beautiful scene each day made the trip even more enjoyable. Vista Residences exceeded our expectations and made for a memorable family vacation. I’d highly recommend it to families looking for a comfortable home away from home with lovely scenery.

There are restaurants, food courts, other places to eat, and shops for daily needs near the apartment. The drive to the hilltop casinos and Genting Highlands Complex usually takes about 15 to 30 minutes, depending on traffic and whether it’s a busy weekend, holiday, or festival period. The building is well managed, and the apartments are fully furnished with balconies facing natural mountain scenery. The number of bedrooms depends on the unit type. There’s plenty of parking space for residents, and some units are rented to travellers. (290125/x)

We spent the weekend with several families in two three-bedroom apartments. They were comfortable in size, relatively clean, and had good lighting, air conditioning, and fans. The kitchens were laid out well for cooking, with stoves, a large fridge, and an oven. There was no microwave, though we expected one. The TV Box was set up and provided some nice entertainment. The pool on the top floor is nice, and there’s a facility for private functions. A sundry shop downstairs has things you might have missed, and plenty of restaurants and shops are within a 400 m walk. Parking is ample, with free spaces for only two cars; others have to pay more than RM10 per day. Lift access requires a card, which gives some security, but each unit came with just one key and one access card. With a large group, you need to plan for people coming and going. Internet through a router was decent in one unit, but reception was weak in the far room of the other. The balcony looks toward the mountain, where construction was going on, though it wasn’t noisy during our stay. Traffic on the road to GH is constant, and it can disturb you at night if your room faces the road. We also noticed a few small ants, so pest control may need some attention. If you need large connecting units for several families, this place works well.
