Durian Hill Villa

There’s half sheltered parking in front of the room, and the twin beds were comfortable. The WiFi was good, though the TV only had 3 channels. The supermarket and other amenities are about a 500m walk away.

The rooms are large and clean, with air conditioning, free WiFi, and water. You can park a car or motorbike right in front of your room. There are food places and a couple of malls nearby, about a 15 minute walk or a Grab ride away. This is a basic motel style place, with WiFi as the only amenity, if you count it as one. It isn’t a fancy hotel with a pool or continental breakfast. I think there are about 30-40 rooms, if I’m not mistaken. You can see what the area has to offer on the way to the villa, so keep your expectations modest. Five stars from me because it’s clean and basic.

Durian Hill Villa Stay offers a peaceful backdrop, a chance to unwind away from the bustle. The air may be fresh, with birdsong or leaves rustling, and the surrounding landscape might include wide stretches of greenery and distinctive durian trees on the hillsides. Depending on the location, the views could be lovely, especially at sunrise or sunset when the sky lights up over the quiet scenery. Whether you’re having morning coffee or catching the evening breeze, it’s a serene spot that shows off the natural beauty of inland Pahang.

I booked both rooms, which made it convenient to park right in front of the house and unload the bags. The unit was clean, especially the toilets, and clean new towels were provided. Each house has 2 rooms, but the main sliding door can’t be locked. If you book only one room, other guests may occupy the other room in the same house. I’d give the cleanliness 5 out of 5.
