I had room 102 on the ground floor and really enjoyed my stay. The place was calm and quiet, secure, safe, clean, and comfortable. I liked sitting in the rocking chair in the foyer, and there was a water dispenser, microwave, and fridge to use. The host was also very quick to reply and helpful. I booked a four-male sharing room with double beds, but basically had the room to myself. It was spacious, with room for my bags and valuables. The air conditioning and ceiling fan both worked well. The beds, pillow, sheets, and quilt cover were white, clean, comfortable, and didn't smell, almost like new. For Muslim travellers, the qiblat direction is clearly marked in the room. Halal food is easy to find nearby, with Suhaimi Cafe less than 100 meters away and Nasi Ayam Taugeh Vegas about a 10-minute walk. Market Lane and Concubine Lane are very close too, and there's a mosque nearby. The shared bathrooms are separate for men and women, so there's privacy. They were clean, well ventilated, not smelly, and had strong water pressure; the toilet bowl wasn't yellowed either. I'd suggest asking for the first floor, at the same level as the bathroom, so you don't have to go up and down every time. It's the best hostel I've stayed in, and I'll definitely come back to try another room type. Thank you, I enjoyed it.

Being in the old town made it easy to walk everywhere. The hostel was modern, quiet, and clean, with spacious rooms, air conditioning, and private beds. I mostly had the room to myself, which was great. They provide towels and a hairdryer, and there's a kitchen downstairs with filtered water and a free washer and dryer. There isn't really a shared social space, though.

I had a spacious, elegant, chic single room and would stay again. The hotel is well placed for famous attractions, with hawkers just around the corner. The famous chicken noodles are a 15-minute walk or a 5-minute taxi ride away. There wasn't anyone at the counter, as check-in and checkout are handled remotely.

The room and toilets were very clean, and self check-in was easy. It's well placed for walking into town. My only complaint was the plastic-sheet roof: the busy road next door made it extremely loud at night.

The whole hostel was super clean and tidy, and the room and bed were comfortable. There was a locker and several sockets in the cabin. The pantry and common area had a hot and cold water dispenser, washing machine, and dryer. After booking, the host sent clear, simple check-in instructions. They assigned the wrong room at first, but responded immediately. As a solo traveller, this is definitely a backpacker hostel I'd come back to.
