Hotel Dutaria

I'm a frequent guest, but this time I wasn't satisfied with the room or bathroom. The dust and dirt were really annoying. The bathroom bin hadn't been washed properly, so I used tissue to step on the lid and open it. There were stains on the toilet lid, and black marks on the shower walls and floor. Please clean them with a stain remover. I also suspect the blankets and pillowcases aren't washed after each stay because they smelled of sweat. The location works for me, and the front desk staff and guard were polite. But I'm now looking for a homestay, even if it costs a little more, because I want a clean place with all the facilities. OYO was the worst hotel I've tried, and I won't go back there. Your hotel can still improve its cleanliness, so please do something. Management should check on the workers and provide feedback forms at the front desk for guests to fill in before leaving. A checklist in each room could help too, with comments submitted daily. Cleaners could put their names on the form after servicing each room, so management can check that rooms were actually cleaned. This would help the business in the long run. Thank you.

For nearly three years, I've stayed at Dutaria whenever I come to Ipoh for work or pleasure. It's a nice hotel, comfortable and clean, with a pleasant environment. Ms Rina is very friendly, and the rest of the staff are good and helpful too. I'm happy with their service. Thank you.

The staff were what made the stay feel like home, so friendly. The room was clean and looked after, and I found it cozy and comfortable. A good budget choice if you're visiting Ipoh. I'd recommend it.

I was very happy staying at this warm, welcoming hotel. The room was comfortable, and everyone on the staff was so kind. Thanks to Ms. Rina for helping me, she was lovely and friendly.
