The location made things easy: Lost World Theme Park is 20 minutes away, and KK Mart and the famous peanut biscuit shop are a one-minute walk. We had a short family holiday here, and the home was just right, with two comfortable rooms and two clean bathrooms. I honestly can’t remember staying somewhere better in Ipoh. Thanks for having us. If I return to Ipoh, I’d choose this place first.
We were a family of nine in Ipoh for 3D2N, and found the place clean and well looked after. It matched the listing and photos, and the beds and linen were comfortable. The host was very friendly and flexible with our unpredictable travel schedule. The location is strategic too, with good local food next door or within walking distance.
The house is large, clean, and has seven rooms. It came with WIFI, a coffee machine, cups, mugs, plates, cutlery, body shower gel, and bath towels. The owner was kind and friendly, and helped whenever we needed something. Next door, morning food stalls sell chu chang fen, Yan tau fu, and other things. Tasty!
It’s clean, easy to access, and the owner is friendly and speaks English. Two cars fit comfortably, though compact cars can be squeezed in if needed. The owner also provides a 3 pin plug charger for ev. The kopitiam next door may be noisy from 6am onwards. The homestay is split into private downstairs and upstairs areas, each with two rooms and a shared area that can be locked for privacy. One room in each area has an ensuite, while the other uses a shared toilet. There are also two separate rooms that lock independently. It’s a useful setup if you can’t book the whole homestay and only want a room or section.
We’ve stayed here twice last year. The two-story place has five rooms, some with attached toilets, and the rooms are spacious. The price is reasonable for a big family or group. Coffee shops right outside serve Ipoh Hor Fun, Fried Char Kway Teow, Roasted Pork, Chee Cheong Fun, and more. I’d recommend the Ipoh hor fun and char kway teow, which are among the top three best I’ve eaten in Ipoh. Try them and you’ll see what I mean.
