Rocky Farm Ipoh

The surroundings and view are lovely. Each room is standalone and was okay inside, but meals mean driving a few kilometres. Drinking water isn't in the room, there's a dispenser outside, and Wi-Fi isn't provided.

We booked the Paris room in a shared house. The shared living space has a mini fridge, water dispenser, and iron. Outside, there are a windmill, swing, and table with chairs, but mosquitoes swarm as soon as you step out, day or night. The dengue risk feels high, and the lake is poorly maintained. This feels more like a bush than a farm to me. The bathroom uses shadowy glass, so people in the room can see your silhouette while you're inside. That's not very suitable if a family with kids or a group of friends is sharing one room.

We stayed for three nights and enjoyed it. The room was clean, roomy, quiet, and comfortable, and the surroundings are lovely. There were only a few mosquitoes, which is the downside of being so close to nature. It's a good option for groups, with access to a living area that has a water dispenser and refrigerator. Highly recommended.

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The architecture built right by the hill is striking and very Instagram-friendly, a pretty special property for Perak. Staff were patient, friendly, and very helpful. They even helped me recover a lost item and arrange to have it returned.
