🚨 SCAM ALERT. Stay away! 🚨 The Google Maps pin was wrong by 7.2 km, so we drove all that way and found the real place was far from Pekan Ipoh. A waste of time, fuel, and money. There was no water heater, and it turned out to be a shared house with strangers. The doors are so thin you can hear every sound from other guests as if they’re in your room. The stay felt misleading, uncomfortable, and unsafe. This was the worst and most dishonest place I’ve stayed. Once was enough, and I’d avoid it.

The host was very friendly and easy to reach when I stayed here nearly a year ago. We couldn’t get the door to open and close properly late at night, but he came over to help. The bathroom could’ve been cleaner, and the room felt a bit depressing. The location was fine.

It was so clean and quiet that we added another night. In Malaysia, you often communicate just through a WhatsApp number, and the guy here was very kind and available almost all the time. The place is close enough to Ipoh’s main attraction, the Cave with its colourful temples. Don’t miss it!

The room was very clean and comfortable, with Wi-Fi and a smart TV for YouTube and Netflix. The bathroom and toilet were comfortable too, and there was a hair dryer and hot water for bathing. Coway water was provided, along with a water heater for making a cup of megi. One of the best.

The room smelled of paint, the pipes were rusty, the floor was dirty, and the second aircond wasn’t cold. There was no aircond water for piping. This felt like a real scam, so I went straight out and found another hotel, but had already wasted money paying. If the owner reads this, I hope they inspect the room and try sleeping in it themselves. May the business grow, and may the prayers of those treated unfairly be answered. Aamiin.
