The shared areas were so dirty that it felt like they hadn’t been cleaned in years. I booked two nights, but only stayed one before moving to another hotel. The photos didn’t match what I got. At the listed price, my room had no window and cockroaches. I paid another 20 ringgit for a room with a small barred window, but the sheets and curtains were dirty and full of holes. When I asked for fresh bedding, they brought a sheet, pillowcases, and a blanket with no duvet cover, then told me to change it myself. I was shocked. I wouldn’t recommend it. It cost me money and nerves.

I’ve stayed in all kinds of hotels, cheap and expensive, and this was easily the worst. I’m fine with budget places, but this was well below what I’d expect, even compared with other hotels at the same price. The air conditioning barely cooled the room, and the unit had turned yellow from white. I can’t say whether it was secondhand. Water pressure was low, too. They also said they had no towels in stock, so they didn’t provide one. Are guests expected to bring their own? Please upgrade.

It’s within walking distance of Lost World of Tambun, so the location may suit you if you can put up with the room issues. The staff were kind enough to return a gold ring I’d left behind after checkout, and I tipped them for being honest. I had to change rooms four times because of air conditioning problems. I checked each room myself, without help from staff. The sheets weren’t clean enough, and the rooms and hotel felt old.

Really bad hotel. Not suitable for a family. Our room had no air conditioning and lots of cockroaches. Not satisfied.
