Ipoh Times Inn Hotel by OYO Rooms

The room was awful. The floor was soapy, and the toilet walls and floor were dirty and smelled bad. Water leaked all night. Don't go, even if it's free.

I compared 8 hotels before settling on Ipoh Times Inn Hotel, the first one I considered. A single room was 70 yuan, with a 30 yuan deposit. It wasn't fancy, with limited TV channels and little space, but it suited my solo trip perfectly. I don't need much from a hotel when it's just somewhere to stay during a trip. Safety comes first for me, then cleanliness, a convenient location, hot water, and a few basics like an iron. This place was reasonably priced and good quality, and at least it was safe and clean.

The room was comfortable enough, and the bed was okay. Air conditioning was generally fine, the bathroom was okay, and cleaning was passable. The receptionist was friendly and helpful, though the TV had no channels. With no window, there was no traffic noise, so I slept well. The hotel is easy to find just off the highway exit. The deposit was RM 30 per room.

A good option for a short trip. The location is convenient, with lots of shops nearby for anything you need, and the price is very reasonable. My room and toilet were very clean, with a towel, hanger, and bath gel provided. The water heater and air conditioner both worked well. The receptionist was friendly, polite, and helpful.
