Check your room before paying. If you ask to change rooms, they’ll give you 1000 reasons why they can’t.

We couldn’t sleep after someone knocked at midnight and opened our door. The security felt frightening and terrible. We called reception, but nothing was done. When we asked them to check the CCTV, they said it was all broken. We ended up reporting it to the police and blocking the door with a table so nobody could open it. Never book here, please don’t even try.

The location and price were the only good parts for me: RM120 for a twin bed, close to Legoland, with lots of eateries downstairs. The room itself was very worn and had few amenities. There wasn’t even an electric kettle, just a glass flask and two dirty mugs on a rusty tray. The TV channels came in poorly, and the room smelled strongly of cigarettes. It was a room for two, but only one person’s worth of shampoo and shower cream was provided.

I booked four rooms for nine people, and the security was very bad. One room door could be opened without an access card because there was no battery, and my own room could also be opened any time without a card. I complained twice. After the first complaint I thought it had been fixed, but it hadn’t. The second time, I called several numbers before reception took over an hour to get the boss there. He knocked once, then scanned and opened the door. There was no respect for our privacy.
