Kozi Hotel - Bukit Indah

I got there at 7 o'clock even though check-in was allowed from 3, and my room still wasn't ready. I'm speechless. The front desk staff don't seem properly trained, so please train them before putting them to work. No next time for me. If you're considering it, don't come.

The staff were really helpful and nice. They shared travel tips for Malaysia and helped book our tickets on the Redbus app, which we appreciated. We chose this hotel because it was clean and had great reviews, though it's a bit far from JB Sentral and Larkin Terminal, where we wanted to go. Our room was clean and had no window, but the water heater worked perfectly. There's no lift, which was totally fine. The place could use a little repainting, and the bidet should be replaced with a bum gun. Remember to have enough cash for the 10RM Tourist Tax.

We checked out early and asked to leave our things at the front desk while we went around the area. That's what we've done at other hotels. The guy on the early shift said it was okay, but when we came back an hour or two later, the woman who calls herself the manager told my husband we couldn't do that. We said she should take it up with her staff member, since he'd agreed. Then she raised her voice. Maybe she'd come in in a bad mood. There are bibles at the front desk, so perhaps she should have her quiet time before starting her shift. She was verrrrrry rude and doesn't know customer service. The guys on staff should be managers instead. Management, you should promote the guy, not her.

The room was a little dusty, but still not too bad compared with other hotels. The area is bright at night and there are nearby stalls. There's also a Lok Lok cart at night.
